Scary Old Men

I didn't know what was going on half the time
I had thought it would be easy, id jump and sing and rhyme
At first I was so eager, but then I was so scared
It was a little scary, but not as I had feared
I jumped and danced and sang and laughed, but it was all a mockery
For nothing can help you, when you're alone for all to see
But I was brave and saw it through and took it to the end
And then something funny happened, they all became my friends
So when you think your lost and never can be found
Go to a place, a special place, and dig into the ground.
It may be dark, it may be sad; you might say whoop-tee-dee
But when you try to be alone, a new light you will see
